So we bought our house August 2009. I was 8 months pregnant with C when we moved in. While it is currently not our dream house we are in the process of fixing it up to be our forever dream home and in keeping with the whole purpose of this blog, I am really trying to love what I have and not focus on "what I want".

Kitchen- Now the kitchen is far from finished so there are no "after" pictures, just before and during!
To Do:
-replace backsplash with either bead board or subway tile
-Add bead board 6' up around the room
-paint walls
-paint cabinets
-(eventually) replace cabinets
-new appliance (stainless please)
-add wall of cabinets where table is (done)
-add bench where the closet is (done)
-replace island with an open butcher block one











Dining Room
-Remove top of hutch (done)
-Paint bottom of hutch
-Paint trim/ paint walls
-Add board and batten 6' up







Living/Family Room
-add mantle to fireplace
-paint walls
-add large rug (done)
-remove shelves from fireplace
-paint fireplace screen





Playroom
-paint walls (done)
